Aircraft Maintenance & Safety

At Fly Legacy Aviation, safety is the foundation of everything we do. Our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards to ensure reliability, performance, and peace of mind for our students and instructors.

Across our two locations, we operate a diverse fleet of 20 aircraft, including Piper trainers, complex Piper Arrows, and multi-engine aircraft. Each aircraft is carefully maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications to ensure it is safe, dependable, and ready for training.

Strict Maintenance Standards

Our maintenance program follows strict guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration and aircraft manufacturers. Every aircraft in our fleet undergoes routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure it remains in peak operating condition.

We believe proactive maintenance is critical to both safety and the longevity of our aircraft.

Our maintenance standards include:

  • Compliance with all FAA regulations
  • Manufacturer-recommended service intervals
  • Detailed aircraft inspection schedules
  • Immediate attention to discrepancies or maintenance reports
  • Continuous monitoring of aircraft performance and safety systems

Regular Aircraft Inspections

All aircraft in our fleet undergo routine inspections as required by federal aviation regulations.

These inspections include:

  • 100-hour inspections required for flight training aircraft
  • Annual inspections performed by certified aviation mechanics
  • Routine preventative maintenance between scheduled inspections
  • Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance to ensure regulatory updates are met

Every inspection is documented and verified to maintain full regulatory compliance.

Modern Aircraft & Reliable Systems

Our fleet includes modern aircraft equipped with advanced avionics and reliable systems designed specifically for training environments.

Many of our aircraft feature glass cockpit technology such as the Garmin G3X Touch, helping students train with the same type of technology used in modern aviation.

This combination of modern equipment and careful maintenance helps ensure students train in safe, capable, and professional-level aircraft.

Dedicated Maintenance Oversight

Our aircraft are monitored and maintained by experienced aviation maintenance professionals who understand the demands of a busy training environment. Safety discrepancies are addressed immediately, and aircraft are removed from service whenever necessary until maintenance is completed.

Our goal is simple: every aircraft must meet our safety standards before it returns to the flight line.

Safety You Can Trust

Flight training requires trust—in your aircraft, your instructors, and your training environment.

At Fly Legacy Aviation, we take pride in maintaining a fleet that students can rely on for every stage of their aviation journey—from their first discovery flight to advanced multi-engine training.

Your safety is our highest priority.
